Facing the Enemy

Feb. 28, 2021

“Postydia” threatens a war with “Herenow” over a disputed border. The Herenovian Prime Minister has a plan for averting war, but one of his generals derails it. His brother, an intelligence officer, is sent under cover to retrieve the situation. But is everything quite what it seems? The play deals with a number of themes including: the difference between fighting for yourself and fighting against somebody else; the question of what happens when conflict at the state level becomes the latter and how to stop it festering and growing until it can only be solved by some sort of cactaclysm. The play has been written as a fable for modern times.
